Header/Footer Template Demo

This demo shows you how to use the header and footer files in Quikstore to create a simple cart template that is applyed to all cart pages. The template you are looking at now is the "static" version of the template. This is explained below in more detail.

This template is very easy to create and apply to your QuikStore site. Basically, it's a table that starts in the header, has an starting "open" cell {td} for the cart template in the middle, and a closing {/td} cell that ends in the footer file.

IMPORTANT: If you download and view the source of the header and footer files, you will notice that both files ARE NOT full html pages. They ONLY contain the necessary html code that is inserted into the cart templates when they are displayed. View the source of the header/footer files for an example of how this works...

You could go to a template site like Template Monster and purchase one of their templates for around $35.00, break it up into the header/footer files like the ones used in this demo, and you can create a beautiful site in less than one hour.

NOTE: The header and footer files are only used in the cart templates. You have to manually insert the template into all static HTML pages. If you are using Dreamweaver, you could make a template and apply that to your static pages as well.
